Daily pic #9: A girl from Annecy
Annecy is a small
town in south-eastern France, less than an hour drive from Geneva.
I was trying to photograph some swans on the canal, when this little girl came out of nowhere, sat in the arch on the steps leading into the water, looked at the crowd on the other side of the canal for a few seconds and disappeared.
Was she taking a short break between the menial chores forced on her by the evil stepmother? Was she waiting for a prince on a white boat?
