The Old City of Jerusalem

It pretty tough to get a visually engaging picture of the Old City from the Hass Promenade (Tayelet) - the sky is always blue, without any interesting clouds, except for a few days in the winter; the omnipresent sand hangs in the air causing the dreaded haze in the images; the arab houses of Abu Tor in front of the Old City walls resemble a garbage dump...

I force myself to stop at the promenade for a few minutes almost every Friday, on the way to my mother, in hopes of catching a UFO.

I have not seen any signs of extraterrestrial life yet, but managed to take this picture last winter, during a dull gray day, when the sun suddenly peered through the clouds and shined right on the Old City, like a God's projector.
